Fish Folk
There’s a certain risk with every bug from outdoors bringing in a contaminant. If you’re Ok with that reality, my guess would be that these bugs are probably just fine.

Cheryl P.
I believe those are still mosquito larvae but just at a later life stage. Feed them now before more mosquitos emerge 😁 https://www.epa.gov/mosquitocontrol/mosquito-life-cycle Edited June 23, 2022 by Cheryl P.
CrashBandit05
I've been catching mosquito larvae in shallow tarp puddles in my backyard. I'll carefully strain out the dirt and other matter then use an oral syringe to suck up the larvae. My harlequin rasboras go absolutely nuts for the live food! I live in the country so not too worried about pesticides or anything. I used to catch grasshoppers and butterflies in my backyard and feed to my panther chameleon. He would waste no time gobbling them up.
