Treating for Parasites - Found Some, Need Advice

I have these in my tank as well. It shouldn't be harmful at all and the worms should act more as a clean up crew. Usually they stick to surfaces and will wriggle like that when detached from the surface. I'm curious to know if they stick to your lid at all?? So far my experience with them, their hasn't been any problems.

Mine are detritus worms. They don't stick, but they bury in the substrate and they sometimes wriggle when they are disturbed (ie: during tank maintenance).  If you have ones that stick to the glass, they could be planaria or another type.

Found these guys in 2 additional (new tanks) and that definitely means having one siphon and all that isn't enough if I end up sharing a bucket between tanks!

Anyways, I found this and wanted to share it for the sake of anyone trying to handle these worms.
