sankaz
I've jumped in to this hobby with some Dalmatian Mollies, otos and Cherry Barbs. I was surprised with some babies in my first tank (10 gallon). I never saw a gravid spot but there they are! I've kept both tanks at 8.0-8.4 pH. Should I be reducing to 7.6-7.8? Sorry about my photo, That's Streak, one of my males and I couldn't edit it properly in the time my impatience allowed for me to send this request for advice. Scapexghost
No. Mollies like high ph. Besides, the fish wouldn't breed if they didn't like the parameters. 1
sankaz
Thanks for the reassurance. I really like these fish, they're personalble, they respond if I put my face up close. One will let me put my finger in the water next to him if I have a fish flake. I've only see huge Koi act like that.
TheSwissAquarist
Most common (e.g. easily found in a pet shop) livebearers are bulletproof.
