definetlynotanoob
I trimmed down my pogostemen to help it grown denser . I found a leaf a couple weeks later the was growing roots and a couple new leafs. Does this plant normally propagate like that or is it a random thing . It being a stem plant had me thinking it needed a stem to regrow?
PattysAquatics
It does that. I bought 2 plants a year ago and have it in all my tanks. Some I float and others trim and replant. I found when you trim them they grow 4 more shoots from where you trimmed it.
definetlynotanoob
@Grizzly yeah I noticed when I cut the stems down they regrew 4 new ones. When I got the plant from the coop it only had 4 long stems . I’ve slowly gotten it extremely dense by trimming low on the plant. Has to be my favorite now cause I can’t find crinum for sale anymore
PattysAquatics
One of my favorites as well. When I get too much of it I throw some in a goldfish tank and they eat it
