Taco Playz
Hello one of our classroom bettas has a weird lump on his side. It’s a 5 gallon tank and it’s not mine but I wanted to know what it is on his side and what are the treatments. He has had it for about 4 months now and it’s gradually getting better. Any ideas of what it is? Thanks!
Taco Playz
He seems very active I just need to know what the lump is to be able to treat him correctly.
Colu
It could be a papilloma or a cyst I would do a course of maracyn2 in food the active ingredient minocycline has proven effective at sinking some types of lumps

I don't think salt would have much of an affect on the lump you could try it if you notice no improvement then I would do the course of maracyn2 in food
