Northeastern grey tree frog. I love mine. She is very friendly. I put my hand out when I need to clean out the terrarium and she hops on. I would avoid anything arboreal 100% as 8" of height isn't much for those species to be able to shift to different heat zones or humidity zones. As for inverts, consider things such as scorpions or smaller arachnids (power to you if you can keep those as those are not my thing lol.) You ***MIGHT*** be able to get away with a solo desert species of Gecko, but do your research! Besides that, there isn't much with something going in a short 10 gallon form factor.
