Karen B.
Greetings There is one patch (always the same) on my substrate that grows/turns like white. What is it exactly? Is it dangerous for the fish? I keep trying to stir it but it always come back… 🤔
Guppysnail
Not harmful it looks like biofilm. The current of the water might be just right for stuff to stay there. It should go away on its own. Can I ask what is the awesome curly plant in the center. At first I thought is was spiral Val but I enlarged the pic and mine does not look that way. Picture enlarged it looked Ben more 😎 awesome.

I wish I could answer you with certainty but I have no idea. Nor did the seller. At first I tought it was an aponogeton of some sorts but looking closer, I think it match more the crinum calamistratum. It died in my aquarium, it’s a bulb plant and the bulb rotted but I am trying a miracle (or living in deby) hoping the remaining healthy leaves might grow some roots.

Crinum calamistratum or Aponogeton longiplumulosis maybe?
