Goosedub
Hey team, Summer tubbin is now starting to heat up (pun intended) it’s has been unseasonably hot here in Chicago. Fish in tubs play by different rules than fish in aquariums. Goliad farms has their stuff in greenhouses that get 120 degrees plus in the summer. When do you start getting worried about the temperature in tub ponds if you have air going to them?
modified lung
My outdoor tanks have gotten up to 104°F with no deaths (koi, goldfish, white cloud, neocardinia). That is until last year a raccoon or something ripped the airline out and all the koi and goldfish died of oxygen deprivation ...except the one koi that jumped out and miraculously landed in the one 5 gallon bucket half full with water sitting next to the tank.

That is sad, but also incredible.
