Zodiak246
Can anyone show me how they have their setup for a brine shrimp hatchery? Other ways than just hanging the bottle, etc.
TheDukeAnumber1
Not much of a deviation from hanging a bottle but this is my setup.
Dancing Matt
here is a cool setup, I say just search "brine shrimp hatchery", or the like, on the forum and you will get quite a few interesting ideas.
Tihshho
@TheDukeAnumber1 can you run through what that setup entails? I see what looks to be an AC prefilter in there. What's it doing?
Brian
I was wondering the same thing. Can you give us some details!
TheDukeAnumber1
It's just a heater. The bottle is an old jack daniels bottle I cut the bottom off of, I feel more comfortable having a heater in glass. I hot glued a piece of ACO tubing into a hole I drilled in the cap and attached a valve that runs to an air pump. It functions the same as the ACO ziss hatchery just with a glass jd bottle and terta heater. The stand is a few pieced of wood screwed together and a ring of pvc pipe screwed on to hole the bottle. Ah, the distortion of the container made it hard to see that, but that's a smart idea to heat it directly. Nice job!
