BSR
I know there are many different types of swords, this one seems to be more compact with a lighter shade of green, i have never seen one like this and i found it in a tank at my LFS, it wasnt in the plant section but rather in a random small tank. I asked to purchase it and they obliged. I was just hoping someone could help identify because i really like it and would like to get more. Thank you so much in advance!!! xXInkedPhoenixX
I have used a lot of Amazon Compacta in my tanks and some of them are the light green you see here.
Odd Duck
I’ve not grown Amazon Compacta, although it sounds intriguing, but this looks a lot like what my baby Amazon swords (Echinodorus bleheri) look like fairly fresh off the growing spike if I’ve let them get bigger before I cut the spike. Guppysnail
I’m with @Odd Duck I have a few bleheri and that is what my young ones look like. I have not grown compacts either though.
