Jmhowe09
Hello, About a month ago I noticed a growth around the mouth on some female black bar endlers. I have had them for ~ 1 year with no issues. I did two rounds of the Aquarium Co-op Med Trio with no effect. The endlers are in a 10 gallon tank. It appears to only be affecting mature females at this time. Parameters are: PH 8.0 Ammonia: 0 Nitrite: 0 Nitrate: 10 KH: 180 GH: 150 Temperature: 74 My next step is pull out all the plants and treat with salt. Before I do so, has anyone seen something like this? Edited May 4, 2022 by Jmhowe09
Colu
the fact that it affecting older females could be due to stress when pregnant weakening they immune system maracyn2 active ingredient is minocycline has proven effective at sinking some types of lumps i would add it to there food he's how I dose it in food use 1 quarter of a packet of maracyn2 1 table spoon of pellets one scoop of seachems focus 1 cap of garlic guard a few drops of water mix well feed a small amount twice a day for 7 days store any leftover medicated food in the fridge
