I always worried my mystery snails would smoosh the eggs accidentally or eat them.  Have you seen either of these things?

I haven't but I also usually pull eggs within 30 min or less of them being laid. I know there's nights I don't pull and they lay. Usually I check the next morning in those cases and tend to get very few, if any. I tend to think that's more the other fish gobbling tho and not the snails. My cories tend to lay mostly in the spawning mop. I have seen guppies and other cories go in the mop immediately after a female lags and chomp the egg. I've never had any on the glass so I don't usually worry about the snails.
