TeeJay
I have an extra 10 gal tank. Was thinking about setting up a plant grow out tank. Just plants only in it. Maybe silly question but would I need to put a filter and heater in it just being plants?
Guppysnail
Airstones are needed. I’ve done just airstone and I’ve used cycled sponge air driven. The seasoned sponged seemed to stop excess film and such from growing with the use of fertilizer but airstone and fertilizer did fine as well. Stagnant water is never a good thing for plants but stagnant water is awesome for a weird bacteria culture SMELLY experiment. 1
