The big question is what kind of a light do you have and what kind of a schedule do you want with the tank. 20H gives you the option of some stem plants, if it's a 20L, that's a tough home for a lot of them but other plants will thrive. Widgets Posted April 17, 2022 Share Posted April 17, 2022 (edited) I would recommend some Pogostemon Stellatus Octopus. It will make a mass of long leaves to provide a hide for any fry. You can also keep it trimmed back. I have it in my 37g and I put the trimmings that I don't replant into my 20L that has Zebra Danio fry.
