Tronald
Hello, I just received some plants from Aquarium co-op. They look great, but how long can I safely keep them in the plastic packaging before I have to plant? They look grown underwater and then put into the packaging for transportation so I am unsure how safe it is to keep them out of water for a few days. I don't think I can plant for a few days, but will make time if needed. Any advice is appreciated.
Widgets
If you leave them in the bag too long they will die. I would take them out of the bags and just float the plastic planter pots in your tank until you are ready to plant. It will help them get adjusted to your water.
Minanora
If you have a bucket you can fill up you can put them in the bucket in the meantime. Just keep the bucket inside so the plants don't get too cold.
