Apulo
Part of my reasoning for changing up my filtration was to get some equipment out of the tank as well as get more filtration than my Tidal 35 could provide. So to accomplish this goal I set up a Fluval 107 canister filter with a co2art inline co2 diffuser and lilly pipes. The Fluval has been amazing so far and the inline diffuser has been creating a mist of fine co2 bubbles coming out of the lilly pipe. I tried to catch it in a photo but I'm not sure how well it's visible. I'm maintaining a nice shade of green in the drop checker with about 1 bubble per second.
Fish Folk
Very nice! I’ve not taken a plunge like this yet. However, if I ever tear down my aquariums and have to restart, I think I’ll be investing more in systems like this.
Apulo
I will say, the Fluval 107 has been great. The only thing I don't like is the ribbed tubing.
Greg Stewart
@Apulo I love the CO2Art inline diffuser. I have it on a Fluval 207 with the standard intake/return (I don't want to have to clean algae off the glass pipes 😉 ). Is that a standard airline check valve on your CO2 line? If it is, you should get a CO2 check valve. The regular airline valve can burst from the pressure. I also put my check valve (from CO2Art) closer to the bubble counter on the regulator--less spillage when I top off the bubble counter fluid, or refill my generator. It's actually not a standard airline check valve. It was recommended to me by other CO2 enthusiasts on another forum. Supposedly these will last years without failure. https://www.ark-plas.com/item.php?i=HAX14-DF0 I can't stop with this tank. I have a CO2Art pro-se regulator coming tomorrow and standard 16/22 tubing coming to replace the ribbed stuff. I don't think I'll mind cleaning the lilly pipes that much, it did come with a spring brush to make it easier. Took me a bit to find it but that particular check valve is rated to 150psi
Greg Stewart
@Apulo That InkBird regulator isn't working well? It's even got a solenoid on it. The CO2Art kits are great. I just have to keep my costs down 😉

I have more money than willpower. 🤣
