Linda4fish
Will easy carbon help get rid of my green water? I understand the underlying cause .. I removed some snails a time ago and I’m afraid that triggered the bloom as I am probably overfeeding. I am working on having a more balanced tank. Patrick_G
Sorry about the green water. Folks who breed fish love it because it encourages the growth of plankton as food for tiny fry. I think it’s caused by extra nutrients in the water and an extra light. A UV filter will take care of it but they’re not cheap. Maybe start out by reducing the light and changing some water. Patrick_G
This type is separate from your filter and not to expensive, although the brand name version from the box stores might be even less expensive COODIA Internal Green Water Killer Filter Aquarium Tank U-V Pump https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V26V5MS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_0F3X29EX69GS8HCV3KEB
