Switching Fx4 to a Fx6

Just looking to upgrade the filtration for my main tank. Does the intake/ output valves for the Fx4 fit the Fx6 so I don't have to readjust them on that tank?

Haven't bought anything yet, so no worries on rushing.

I don’t use any canisters myself, but I _think_ they’re the same. This ad sells one product for both.

They are the same valves and hose. Almost all parts interchange. The main difference is pump size and the fx6 having one more of the same media trays.

Just curious on what price they were asking at the show? I saw the booth and the filters but didn't think to ask about pricing.

It was a local vendor up in Apopka, but it was at the end of con. I got lucky and got it for 320. 

Pet s mart _tends_ to put them on sale for around 350 every few months, but I've been checking regularly and no discount for the last few months. 

New sale prices should drop first Monday of each month, minus November and December weekend sales. 

Worked there as the physical inventory manager for 6 years. (Literally everything in the store that wasn't alive)
