Dean’s Fishroom
Does anyone know if an inline CO2 diffuser needs to be positioned vertically?
MickS77
I doubt it needs to be, hard to believe it would effect performance that much whether its vertical or horizontal. Maybe it would develop some kind of an air pocket but I'd think the water flow would push that through.

Ryan W
@Dean’s Fishroom Just make sure you implement a check valve between the diffuser and the bubble counter. Those inline diffusers WILL fill with water once your Co2 shuts off for the night. Although I’ve used inline atomizers off and on for about 5 years, I’ve never used one that wasn’t vertical. Again, as long as you use a check valve before the atomizer, you really should be ok granted everything else is sealed up correctly.

varanidguy
I'd just mount it so the logo is right side up and readable. I doubt it would make a huge difference. That style of atomizer likes to run at a decently high PSI, I had to run mine at a minimum of 35 to get good performance.
