Administrators Zenzo Posted January 27, 2022 Administrators Share Posted January 27, 2022 Nerite snails do not reproduce in freshwater. That's an option, and a favorite for many hobbyists.
GameCzar
Mystery Snails are pretty safe too if they can't lay their clutches above the water line.

Guppysnail
Mystery snails are also an option. They lay very visible clutches above the waterline that can easily be removed so no offspring. Nerite eggs if you get a girl by luck of the draw leave nerm glitter eggs everywhere that are a touch hard to remove. Nerites are much better at algae and glass cleaning but do not eat supplemental food often. Mystery snails not so great at algae but need supplemental feeding with veggies and wafers.
BettaHomesAndGardens
I love Nerite snails. I had one as a stowaway on the very first plant I bought and I kept him around. He's always putting in work and on the move. Their shells have some very striking patterns. Definitely recommend these little guys. I do recommend a lid with them as mine have tried to make a break for it before lol.
