Kurt Brutting
Can anyone recommend a good external heater for running 2 heaters at the same time in the same aquarium? I am using 2 Eheim 100w heaters in my 50 gallon and I would like them to turn on & off at the same time. Any help is appreciated.
dmurray407
I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but I use Inkbird Aquarium controllers https://www.amazon.com/Inkbird-Thermostat-Ornamental-Temperature-Controller/dp/B07QWTJNX2/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_w=TZ7KR&pf_rd_p=29505bbf-38bd-47ef-8224-a5dd0cda2bae&pf_rd_r=SKVHYANW1A52PNCM4KJ4&pd_rd_r=1d624845-e7e3-466f-b888-d05a5f6a9f0a&pd_rd_wg=hTyOa&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_atf_m They allow you to plug 2 heaters in to the controller. I got the wifi version, but it's a little quirky so I would just get at the non wifi one.
Guppysnail
I use inkbird but not as the controller. I set it 2 degrees above the temp I want the tank. That way I know if my heater is on the fritz if the control has to shut it off continuously. I use dual heaters as well this is the low tech one I use 1

Kurt Brutting
@dmurray407 & @Guppysnail I got my ITC-306T-A Inkbird Heat Controller in the mail and setup. It rocks thank you! It’s much easier then trying to sync 2 heaters together and constantly reaching in to adjust by hand. I totally recommend this product for anyone running multiple heaters in the same aquarium. 1
