Matthew C.
When you just have plants in a aquarium do you need to put water conditioner in with it?
lefty o
if you have really high chlorine levels in your tap water, then it might not be a bad idea, but for just plants, no.
Matthew C.
okay that's good to know. I was also wondering do I need to get the driftwood and rock first before i start buying the plants.
Mydonkeyfish
I think it is easier to aquascape and plant after you have the hardscape in but you definitely dont have to. Matthew C.
That's a good thing because i have plants right now ,but I still have them in their pots under water. I did a little trimming of the amazon sword and i want to get it in the big tank as well as the windelov.
lefty o
you can do it in any order you want. if you have the plants, as long as you keep them in water, its no big deal.
Chad
Exactly, I've rearranged my tank a ton so scape, rescape, add and remove to your hearts content. I've read moving plants slows down the growing time, or is that just the acclimation process to the aquarium and new water parameters? Either way, I don't care since if a plant grows in my tank I'm okay with slow growth.
