hey all, not sure if this is allowed but the coop doesnt sell floaters so no conflict of interest? i cleared out a bunch of floaters and would really hate to toss them, if anyone wants them just cover the shipping cost and you can have em. its mostly dwarf lettuce but there is frogbit and some other plants mixed up in there. ill ship them out tomorrow morning.

maybe we can start an act of kindness thread? if anyone has any plants/trimmings that they don’t want they can post them in the thread to giveaway to someone who may have a use for them but maybe can’t purchase plants at the moment. might be a good place to share in our extras, thoughts?

@Daniel that makes sense but this would be totally free, no sales. just a way to give back and pass some plants on to others. we can make a rule that we can only ship flat rate so people don’t try to charge expensive shipping rates or something?

regardless i personally trim every couple of weeks and throw out like half of them, with my local clubs being closed i can’t donate them like i usually would and am more than willing to pass them on to someone else who needs them.

This isn’t something we will doing. Sharing shipping addresses, sellling will happen. People will get angry over duckweed, snails, disease sickness etc.

This forum is a place to discuss the hobby. Not a place to sell or give away. You can do that on other platforms. The liability is not something Aquarium coop will be taking on.
