Augustjd27
Since Aquarium Coop currently only sells 25 watt heaters, I'm not sure what brand of aquarium heater it would be recommended to get and where I can find one? I need heaters for a 125 and a few smaller tanks whose heaters have stopped working properly.
Fish Folk
I like Eheim. I’d recommend two heaters for your 125 in case one konks out. Otherwise, brand names aside, I also like titanium heaters. I’ve had occasional glass tubes crack.
WillC
I followed Cory's using multiple 100W Heaters on a tank method. Currently, I am happy with the Hygger 100W so far. https://www.amazon.com/Hygger-Submersible-Thermostat-Controller-Thermometer/dp/B07X33RXGP?th=1 Temperature seems to be maintained well. The longevity of the suction cups is the only thing I am currently keeping an eye on. Will
Chad
I'm currently using a hygger titanium heater and am quite happy with it for the same reason @Fish Folk mentioned above. Can't speak for longevity though as I've only had it 3 months. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HGXHX5Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 Edited January 7, 2022 by Chad
StevesFishTanks
I use the cheap aquatop 100w and 200w quartz as heating elements plugged into and controlled by an inkbird Edited January 7, 2022 by s1_
