Up North
Has anyone used grape wood in their aquarium? People say it will break down quick but I am looking for responses from people that have actually used it. Thanks Jeff
Guppysnail
Yes I have an arm size piece in my breeding pair BN pleco tank. It has been there since august. I’ve seen no breakdown at all. That pice I have had for 6-7 years it belonged to my bearded dragon. I also either got no biofilm or my plecos snails and shrimp ate it faster than it grew. I put it in there in hopes of growing tons of film for my pleco fry.
Up North
Thanks. Time will be the test to see how long it lasts
gardenman
I bought a piece of "driftwood" from Wish a few years back (three now?) that looked like a piece of grapevine to me. It's been fine. No issues at all.
