zayackylepga
Having trouble with my Anacharis. Has stopped dead in its tracks. Everything was stable, 72 degrees, then had a bout of Ich and cranked it up to 80. Ich has disappeared but the Anacharis will not grow now. Tank has been 72 for the last 5 days and no growth. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Levi_Aquatics
Did you use any meds for the ich?

Guppysnail
My anacharis gets testy over 78 degrees it also wilts and stops when my nitrates go over 40. I don’t have first hand experience with anacharis and meds but my understanding is they are very sensitive to them and glutaraldehyde (liquid carbon used for algae control) kills mine quick. Levi_Aquatics
The medicine and high temp probably set it back a bit. I would probably just leave things as you had them before and it should bounce back within the next week.

Same for mine. It's currently growing in an outside patio pond. It's the only plant still going with the cold weather. I'm told mine is a Texas native and I've been struggling to keep it in any sort of tropical tank. Mine has also melted fast with any meds.
