tomfoolery
OK, so I've had a pair of Hillstream Loaches for a little over a year, and all this time I figured they were both males. Their previous tank's (65gal) began to bow in the front so I quickly relocated the entire community to a new 90gal (approx). As with a any new setup I ordered a bunch of plants from AC. A few weeks later suddenly a bunch of baby Hillstream Loaches have appeared. So, my main question is, does AC store Hillstream Loaches with their plants and I got lucky with some egg hitchhikers, or I guess my loaches love their new tank? Levi_Aquatics
I have seen in some videos that AC keeps some algae eaters in their plant tanks but I don’t remember specifically seeing hillstream loaches. I’d think while it might be possible for the eggs to hitch hike on plants and hatch in your aquarium, it is probably more likely that you have a m/f pair of hillstream loaches and they had the fry.
tomfoolery
I certainly hope so! They've quickly become a favorite of mine. Fingers crossed that more continue to appear!
