Hello I am new to the forum! Im starting a Micro Tank for pea puffers. Ive had the tank for about three weeks and have cycled it with no fish. I have all the water levels and everything ready however is too much of a current in the tank going to be a problem. I haven't actually ordered the fish yet. Thank you!

Welcome! Thanks for your questions. Some questions for you now: (1) What size is your tank? (2) Have you tested you Ammonia / Nitrite / Nitrate yet to be certain the aquarium is fully cycled? (3) What sort of filtration are you running, and what is the “flow” source you refer to? (4) How many Pea Puffers are you hoping to order?

20 Gallon

Everything is tested PH is 7.6 ammonia nitrate nitrite 0

Using a fluval Flex tank has a high flow/current

2 puffers

Pea puffers are shoaling fish so they are better in larger numbers. You could fit six in a tank that size.

So excited for you! They're such great little fish!
