I haven't had any luck getting bubbles out of the stone. The bubbles arise from the gaskets between the two parts of the stone. The two parts are twisted tightly, and with any more tightening I'm afraid that something will break. Any advice? Thanks.

Have you tried loosening it? If it's turned too tightly you won't get air out of the disks.

Thanks Cory and KBOzzie59. Looks like egg on my face! I'll loosen the two parts, for more bubbles. But what I meant to say is that all of the bubbles are released from the gaskets, and not from the actual hard part of the stone. But, there's no way the bubbles should come out of the hard part, as now explained. Thanks.
