Alec
Who has kept both bettas and cherry shrimp together in the same tank? If so did your cherry shrimp reproduce a lot? I would like to breed the cherry shrimp and have a full tank of shrimp, but I also want a nice planted betta tank and don't have room to do both. So, was wondering if I could get both in one tank. Mmiller2001
You will just have to try. Just do the shrimp first and let them establish a decent sized colony before adding the Betta. Also, use mosses to allow the baby shrimp a spot to hide out in. Edited December 8, 2021 by Mmiller2001
KaitieG
I had a betta with neocardina shrimp for over a year--the colony grew like crazy. Might depend on the betta, but mine was totally uninterested in the shrimp. Angelfish is a different story.
