I have a marineland aquarium light pod system.

It has been in a box for some time and works. The pods just snap onto the strip. The strip is in test mode on my 45gl tall the pods have 4 led,s per unit. You can place the pods in any configuration on the strip . The line up left to right now is  W/P/B/W/W/P/W/W/B/P/W letters stand for white/plant/blue. I can't do a PAR Test. If anyone has a history with this system please feel free it help. I will stick to low the medium plants to start.

There are a number of factors to balance. The goal, I’m sure, is healthy plant growth. As long as your plants aren’t too needy, and provided you can balance photoperiod with level of nutrients, you should be successful!

I have a low-end “pod” LED set up over this 55 gal. The throw to bottom is similar to your 45 tall, I believe.
