So I dont have water to my garage.. I need a good way to get water to my garage without plumbing it in. My thought process was I could plumb water to the room but itsabout 20 feet away. I have 2 hose spigots close and want to utilize them. I dont want to hard line the water although it would be the best. I was thinking a sort to "jumper" connection from the spigot to the garage. IDK just thinking out loud. Give me some ideas and input please !! Ill add pictures tomorrow.

Just get yourself a Python...

Or piecemeal it all together:

(1) Faucet Adaptor

(2) Python Faucet Connector

(3) Vinyl tubing (50 ft.)

(4) And optionally, add a gravel vac end attachment

In the end . . . you're probably cheaper just going with a Python. You may want to add vinyl hosing anyway to extend it. Just bear in mind that, depending on water pressure, this will not be very effective for servicing tanks that are on a different floor from your spigot. As long as your garage is reasonably on the same level as your faucet end, you're good to go.

I’m to cheap to buy a python 🤣. I use this for going from my outside spigot to my fish room. I did buy the python hook though. It only takes a minute to hook it up each time and it has an on/off switch. It’s about a pound it’s very lightweight an collapses small no hose winding involved because it’s soft. I like it. It isays it is s drinking water safe so I guess some might not be but I have never had issues with this one.

I would plumb the water into the fish room, and plumb drain lines in the fish room as well. You will grow tired of having to move all the hoses in and out of the fish room, especially if you are breeding fish, you will be changing water frequently on grow out tanks. If you take the time now and plan it out, it will make it easier and more enjoyable for you down the road.

Depending on the type of existing plumbing, it can be pretty easy to extend water lines. Modern PEX plumbing can be run like wires which is much easier to retrofit than more rigid pipes. If you have easy access to a basement or attic and either is kept above freezing, it can be pretty easy to install water lines to a fish room. Best case scenario, you can have it done in an hour. It doesn't have to be hard. Drain lines can be trickier as they have to run downhill.
