It’s set hard and safe to touch before I take my fingers off the plant.  I’ve never noticed any issues from any off-gassing.  I’ve done lots of these right at the kitchen sink when I’m doing little pieces and I don’t notice any odor at all.  Of course, I work with animals so may have somewhat trained my nose to ignore noxious odors!  😝
