Blake Calhoun Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 Preparing to hook up an air loop to a linear piston pump (via the co op). I got 3/4 pvc for the loop, but upon further research sounds like 1in is more ideal. Is it going to be that much of a difference that I should go back to the store and get 1in? Fish room is 800 square feet
lefty o Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 im of the opinion, if you cant get enough air through a 3/4" line to do whatever you want in a fish room, you got some big issues. should be fine. 1 1
Atitagain Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 My room is 10’x11’ so only 110sq ft and 3/4” works great. are you sure your fishroom is 800sq ft that is a 40’x20’ room? If so that’s great and huge!

Nice..3/4 will still be good I would think as long as you don’t put to many drops. But you would run into same problem with 1” just a little bit sooner.(maybe) distance to tank from drop, depth of water, air pressure, along with many other conditions in your room will dictate how many drops you will be able to have. good luck mate 1
Blake Calhoun Posted November 30, 2021 Author Posted November 30, 2021 thanks all! Ended up going with 1in 2
