Tetra Guy
So I have about 100 panda molly since April. I would like to use their two grow out tanks for aquascaped display tanks. Whats the fastest, healthy way to grow them to sellable size? Im feeding Tetra flakes, live bbs and shrimp flakes. TIA! 🙂
Tetra Guy
Also, what is a good “sellable” size for mollies? I have no idea what I’m doing, these fish were accidental. 😅

Some people (usually with discus) go as far as doing 100% daily water changes
Ben Ellison
Baby brine shrimp are magic fry growers. Setup a hatchery with a old bottle and air pump and a light.
Administrators Cory Posted October 4, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 4, 2020 You'd want a minimum of 2 inches to be at sellable size. To maximize growth. Use an auto feeder feeding 4x per day, and then 2 feedings by you per day, usually morning and night, whatever works for your schedule of Live foods and frozen foods. Then make sure water parameters don't get out of line. The goal is to keep fish eating every 2 hours. This would be for a 12 hour light on cycle. Tetra Guy
Sounds like a plan! Auto feeder is a great idea, since I can't logistically manage the 2hr intervals, gonna get me one or two. Thanks, Cory!
Pekitivey
Would the same be true for guppies or other livebearers
