onlywei
Can it handle 4 sponge filters? How about 8? How do I know when I don't have sufficient air to power a sponge filter anyway?
ADMWNDSR83
@Cory has a great video on dialing in sponge filters. I would imagine as long as there are sufficient bubbles you'd be fine, but what do I know? I have 4 tanks in 4 different rooms, two different states, actually, and each tank has its own air pump powering its own sponge. I can say my sponges can easily have way too much power! Ken
I have ran 5 sponge filters on a Tetra 100, if they are rated near the same I would guess you would be okay with at least that many. I did have the Ziss airstones cranked down to make fairly small bubbles.
