Mr Gumby Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 Hi folks, Tested my rain water as I'm looking at a chilli Rasbora breeding project. This time of year there's plenty of rain to play with 😂Anyway it's around about a 6.5 PH and my tap is 7.3 to 7.4 and VERY HARD. What sort of KH and GH am I looking at for a stable PH? A 50/50 mix got me down to around 7 but still quite hard.    Â
Zac Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 KH is the main contributor to stability. You can add various buffers that will decrease the GH and increase the KH. A KH of 3-5ish is generally a good rangeÂ
