I don't know an easier way, but I admire your follow-through. There is something so meditative about a repetitive task like that.

Atleast it’s a color that stands out , been trying to figure out the fastest way I could come up with. I don’t know there’s another way than spreading it out thin and picking through it. Uggg …good luck mate
Brandon p
It’s not bad I only do it when in bored or need substrate. Blue I have used in one of the muck bucket ponds that happened to be blue. I get a gallon plastic ice cream container and sort one of those at a time. It was not my choice to have blue in my biggest aquarium that was set up as River.
Guppysnail
I order spectrastone special black to avoid the colored stones. Or I get a light color with no colored stones. You have my utmost admiration for your perseverance. I would not have been able to follow through I do not envy your larger task ahead. My ex put them in. She liked so they were there for a long time. I hope I can get through it. Or at least most of of. I dont really use the stones that much any more I’ve been trying different substrates and a few dirted tanks. I dislike the dirted tanks. There is one that my son did that is just dirt that has done well. Now I use the gravel in the tanks so the fish don’t get light from the bottom and even then some are just painted. Depends on what I’m doing with themwith them Edited November 11, 2021 by Brandon p
