BF McUmber
Today I noticed one of my amano shrimps had some red splotches on its shell. It almost looks like he was nibbled on our maybe has a small infection if I was to guess. The other two I have in the tank and cherry shrimp do not share the symptom. I just want to know if it is anything to be worried about or if it was just a molting issue?
BenA
I think that you worry for nothing, my Amanos also have these marks and they live happily ever after.
laritheloud
It looks like a shell 'flaw'? I don't think it's a disease, and likely there isn't anything to be done about it. Hopefully it's nothing and she can go on living her happy shrimpy life.
BF McUmber
Thanks you for the replies, I've had the 3 for a while and it just happened over the weekend so it was note worthy. I will go on not worrying.
