Anyone With Experience Using Aqua Natural Bio-Substrate?

Hi, anyone with experience using Aqua Natural Bio-Substrate? Any opinions or suggestions?

Have a new 55 gallon tank I am setting up, looking for a good substrate to use to help with plants and cycling. Picked up a couple bags of Bio-substrate, hoping to hear of any experiences.

I haven’t tried that one. I’m a bit skeptical about live beneficial bacteria in  an bag or bottle but other folks seem to have had good luck. I’ve read a few studies that say the bacteria are hard to kill but go into a dormant phase in the absence of nitrogen for food so maybe it’ll work.
