pearling?

just did a water change and noticed this a few minutes after. is the plant happy and pearling or could this just be bubbles from pouring water in to the tank during the change. its a steady stream of bubbles and has been going for a few minutes

Plants pearl (produce enough oxygen for you to see it produce bubbles as it works it sway to the surface) when they are very very happy. Sad plants don't pearl 😞

Yep, your plant is pearling, congratulations. It means that you've got everything right in your tank and pearling doesn't always happen when you change the water, I changed 25% of the water in my 29G last Sunday, my Crypt's started pearling the day before yesterday and are still pearling today.

pearling is a good thing, however pearling right after a water change typically means you just added oxygen rich water. not a bad thing, not anything especially great either.

My guess is also that it was brought on by the water change.  If frequently get that shortly after a water change, but rarely at any other time.
