dubomac
Recently purchased a 17g tank in my home so I now want to convert my old 10g to a quarantine tank. Instead of a hang-on-back or canister filter, I want to run and sponge filter. Does anyone have recommendations for the air pump size as the bio load in this tank will not be heavy? Could I get away with an air pump designed for nano tanks? This quarantine tank will be in my bedroom so noise plays a big factor...for my wife, I sleep like a log. 😆 Thanks in advance! Scapexghost
The usb nano air pump aquarium co-op sells is effectively silent. Its tiny but strong enough for your purpose. Edited November 4, 2021 by Scapexghost
