scott the fishman Posted October 31, 2021 Share Posted October 31, 2021 HI GUYS! so i have a 75g planted and i am in day 4 of a medicated cycle for 2 sick fish. i am using maracyn paracleanse, ich-x. could this cause a plant to turn pink at the top. it has grown tall and is much closer to the light about 8 inches from the top of aquarium. i got some pics. its the tall stem plant. Erin Maxted Posted November 2, 2021 Share Posted November 2, 2021 For future reference for you: ParacCeanse just has metronidazole (antibiotic/antiparasitic) and praziquantel (anti-cestode), both medications which only work on animal cells because blah blah science *Insert science-y mechanism of action here*, so it's not harmful to plants in the doses we generally use. Though, I have professor who is very fond of saying "All generalizations are false, including this one". Hope that puts your mind at ease in the future!
