Guppysnail
Beautiful wood. Your placement is very attractive it pulls the eye straight to the rocks. Looks like lightning bolts striking Edited October 17, 2021 by Guppysnail

Papagoomba
thanks. I think it looks good. The way my brain works tho is i like taking input/ideas from other people then if i like them puting my own spin on it. This is only my 3rd tank ive set up and fist time using stone. Beardedbillygoat1975
The only concern I have for this as a puffer tank is they can burrow into the substrate when scared or as a hunting strategy and with the size and texture of your substrate it could be an issue. I’ve seen people with gravel and it’s worked fine but there are some reports of issues on some of the puffer forums. Good news is it looks like the substrate is too big for them to swallow. As far as the hard scape I think it creates some good sight blocks. With the plants it’ll look great and provide them with a lovely environment for their little inquisitive minds. Papagoomba
I wasnt aware that pea puffers liked to burrow when scared. From the research ive done on them ive never heard that. Looks like ill be doing some more research before purchase.
