laferme Posted October 1, 2021 Share Posted October 1, 2021 Ive been into my 30 gal planted tank for a year now,started with 3 cory's down to 2,,,,,,,had 2 butterfly peco's? down to 1 should I add more with this size tank,,,,,my neons around 8 have done well and fire shrimp,,,,,,,,,,or should I just maintain what I have ? thank you dave Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guppysnail Posted October 1, 2021 Share Posted October 1, 2021 corys do enjoy larger groups. Pleco if you end up with 2 males there may be territory disputes. Neons also enjoy larger groups. It will house more but adding more is a choice you decide on. If you like it just as is then enjoy. If you have a mix try to get three more of what ever pandas, pygmy Corys( mane a few more if they are Pygmy. In my community tank there are orange lazers, aneus bronze and albino, pandas.
