L.West
I have recently gotten back into the hobby after a 6 year pause. I had a large tank leak while I was away from home and that was a disaster. I vowed to never had another tank but here I am again with a new 125 gallon acrylic tank (went acrylic in hopes to lessen the chance of a leak) with 2 young oscars in it. Love having a tank again and am excited to see my new oscars grow up. Looking forward to seeing everyone's tanks and to learn new techniques. Atitagain
Welcome to the forum, oscars are what brought me in as well. My friend was hand feeding one. Wasn’t long I had a tank and my 1st oscar. I have a pictus catfish and a pair of breeding bristlenose with my Oscar now. Do you plan on adding other fish?

Jeff
Welcome fellow Michigander! I grew up on the east side, and now I'm a westsider. Where do you hail from? Also, we NEED PICS!!!!!
Alison
Hello and welcome back! I am also a Michigander. I am in the Grand Rapids area. If you live this way or are ever in the area, you have to stop by water colors aquarium gallery. I never had a tank blow out when I was keeping fish before, but I also only had small tanks. This time around I went all acrylic myself because I'm that person that is the walking definition of murphy's law. I only have two small tanks (15 and 30g) but so far all has been well. No cracking or leaking.
