Recommended Nano Fish Breeding Projects

Hi everyone!

I have a fish rack that has some empty space and wanted to see if anyone had any fun recommendations for breeding projects for nano fish. I have breeding CPD's and shimp for a few years now, but now that I have more space I have started dipping into other fish. Just picked up some Guppies for the first time (so excited)!

Anyone have any fish that they absolutely love having and breeding? I mostly have 10 and 20 gallon tanks available.

I think killifish might be fun. The spawning process seems straightforward and there are lots of varieties to choose from. 
I like the look of the Gardneri variety

Pygmy and panda Cory are fun. Mine have not spawned yet.  Guppies I have done a long time..suggesting you keep some tanks open they start reproducing exponentially and can number hundreds in a very very short time. Mine tend not to eat their fry often even when I stop feeding for a few days. Best of luck hope you find some projects

Here’s my personal list of nano fish I’d like to breed in the next year or two.

Honey Gourami or Sparkling Gourami

Corydoras

Killifish

Apistogramma (or dwarf Cichlids in general)

I enjoy breeding medaka ricefish. It has yet to get old seeing a female swimming around carrying a group of eggs attached.
