Fish Folk Posted September 16, 2021 Share Posted September 16, 2021 So I am trying out something new. I hooked up a powerhead in my U.S. Native 29 gal tank. I’ve had a tiny pond pump going, but this really boosts flow and air. I did a little DIY pre-sponge-filter over the intake so that small fish or fry won’t get sucked up And I added the air intake hose using CoOp black tubing (the best!) Here’s 30 seconds worth of video… I’m hoping to refine this, because I _think_ it may become part of how I’ll encourage my Rainbow Darters to spawn. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
