Craziiininja
I have a 29 gallon with 1 angelfish and 1 bolivian ram. Could i add a couple more rams or would that be a bad idea? Thanks for any help! 🙂 Edited September 28, 2020 by Craziiininja
gcalberto
You should be just fine if you do that. The only thing that could happen is 2 of them become a couple and bully the other one
Craziiininja
Is there any other tank mates u would recommend?
ange
Bolivian rams and angels generally do fine in the same tank. They only really get nasty toward each other if in breeding mode. I've kept a pair of each in a 29 with zero problems since they generally claimed their territories in different parts of the tank. Personally I'd keep a backup plan available just in case one of the fish ended up causing problems, but it never happened for me.
Craziiininja
Ok i have several tanks i could put them in if i needed to thanks for the reply
gcalberto
I would choose either German or Bolivian rams, but not both, since the hang out in the same area of the tank. On top of the angel and rams, I'd get a schooling fish. Maybe some tetras, rasboras or danios, and bottom dwelling fish: I'd maybe get a school of cories and some Otos or bristlenose plecos.
