Johnny B. Goode
First and foremost sorry for the pic. I chased this snail all over the tank trying to get a pic beside a dark one. Bladder snails move surprisingly fast when you want a picture. Anyhow. I think I ended up with an albino bladder snail. I feed these out of all my tanks to my loaches and have never seen one this color. Do you think this is an albino?

Jennifer V
@Johnny B. Goode @Guppysnail I think I ended up with an albino bladder snail as well! He's very hard to photograph but he's white and his shell is mostly white/golden as well. Fun! 2
Greg Stewart
The faster snails grown, the large their shell gets while it's still pretty transparent. It takes more time for the periostracum to thicken and develop opaqueness. Over time it should get darker. Bladder snails have rather translucent shells to begin with. This often happens when there's a ton of food available for them.

Does the snail look like this: I can't ever get pictures from the front to stay in focus.🤦♂️

I pretty much watched him or looked for him all day. Strange to be so thrilled about a bladder snail.

My spouse named ours Pebbles. The antenna look like bat wings... when the endlers aren't nipping at the snail🙄 Apparently, female endlers really like their meat😅 I've been looking for the scientific name of these specifics, because they are so much more effective at cleaning than the regular pond snails, and don't eat my plants😍 Plus, fast movers and awesome little personalities.
